Right now we are a father and son team working to supply the Oregon Coast with all the ICF Green Block products that are needed. I have over 30 years as a general contractor and have brought my son into the business within the last several years.  I started out doing wood-frame houses and have now expanded my business to what I consider a far superior product- that is Green Block.  I have been using ICF products for over 10 years now and would love to work solely with that product.  It is so energy efficient and worth every penny.  My family and my son's family live in an ICF block home.  I started construction training right out of high school with an Amish building crew in Indiana, moved to Oregon in 1978, and have been building ever since.

Think about it. Have you ever come across a tool for your trade or a program for your business that you began to use and then have said "Where have you been my whole life?" That's kind of how ICF is for me. It has been around for years, but people tend to use (and look for) what they are familiar with. Most builders are used to stick-frame houses- they're cheaper to build and are a familiar process- "why mess with a good thing?" Well, because there's something better... that's why.
